Draft Town Beach Tote
These versatile and sturdy tote bags are primarily made from the detritus of the 2016 NFL Draft, held in downtown Chicago. The event produced a very large amount of printed vinyl banners, which we have made into these unique bags with the help of a sewing studio located in the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago just a few miles away.
The handles are created from "deadrope", which is the term for rock climbing rope that can no longer be used for rock climbing but is otherwise a still useful material. The deadrope was supplied by Brooklyn Boulders in the West Loop.
Finally, the embroidered patch itself was made by Chicago Embroidery Company, which has been operating in the city for 126 years!
The bags are uniform in size and style, but the graphic patterns are completely random and unique. Some bags are majority white on the outside with blue accents, and some are blue on the outside with white accents. Some handles are made of blue rope and some are green. If you have a preference, please specify in your order.
Bag dimensions are 16"Wx16"Hx4"D, with pockets on both sides.
